 Hello all!! Just a quick announcement to clarify some things. A bout of influenza and seasonal bugs has struck Kerenza's household and knocked her for six, I also have some stuff going on and the sudden freezing temperatures aren't helping my hands! Posts will be intermittent if at all so please bare with us until normal service can be resumed! Today is also bonfire night so this is a very brief Pet Safety announcement: KEEP YOUR PETS INDOORS TONIGHT!   I know it's raining but that won't stop people letting fireworks off. For those of you with pets who do not cope well with fireworks, there are a few radio and TV stations that provide calming music and there are playlists available on Spotify and YouTube.  Hi Guys, Apologies for no posts over the weekend, life got busy! Just a quick one today to wish you all a Happy Hallowe'en, Blessed Samhain, Blessed Allantide, Happy New Year! However and whatever it is that you celebrate today, we wish you a good one. Today is about honouring your ancestors, and yourself too, as you are a product of them all! It is also Joe's and my anniversary, so we are celebrating in our own way. So, today, be respectful of others who do not wish to celebrate, kids who may have allergies or sensory processing issues, and KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE!! Hi guys, Thank you to Cat for stepping in and doing yesterday's post. It was very enlightening. IT'S OCTOBER!!! So, me being me, I have decided that all of October is going to have a spooky theme!   But then, I'd have Halloween all year if I could!! Of course, we will continue our Tarot Tuesday as we are nearly finished with the suit of Wands. In addition, we will have more Witch Trials, more My Ghost Stories, Autumn themed Crystal Wednesdays and Flora Fridays. I aim to do more on the Mythological Creatures series I have teased, and maybe, just maybe, a list of haunted locations? Is there anything else you would like me to cover this month? Hi guys. In honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's passing yesterday, we at True Souls Emporium would like to express our condolences to The Royal Family at their great loss. It is a loss that will be felt worldwide as the entire Commonwealth is now in mourning for our longest ever reigning monarch. She was a strong woman who had the title and the spotlight thrust upon her at an early age, and she wore it well. As such, there will not be our usual blog post today. Instead, we ask you all to light a candle to honour those that have passed before us, and to hold our nation in your thoughts as we all try to come to terms with what can only be described as the end of an era. Rest in peace your Majesty. Thank you for your dedication and service.  Long live the King. Kerenza x

  Hi guys, So, continuing our elements theme, just because I liked doing it, we are switching to Earth this week. I have a couple of local stone circles for you, crystals, maybe a herb or two. I'll look into a lot of the earthworks that have been discovered recently due to the very hot Summer here in the Northern Hemisphere. We have already covered  grounding  and  meditation  in previous posts, so I will be skirting around those, or delving deeper, maybe looking at Earthing compared to grounding, that kind of thing. Obviously, we will still have our Tarot Tuesday series on, oddly enough, Tuesday this week. I will look into altar items and animals too, to see if we can link any of those series into this week. No moon to cover this week, but we do have plenty in retrograde (looking at you, Mercury....) which could well have an effect on us, so I will be looking into that too.   Hello all!  As you can tell from the title, we are starting yet another series. I am going to call this one Places of Interest.  I got the above photo from Adobe online, although we have visited this beautiful place in person. This is just one of the sites we will cover. I aim to start local, after all, there are plenty of sites in Cornwall, but we will include some of the bigger and well known sites. I am personally drawn to the Nazcar lines in Peru, so that will be one that will be covered, and, if we can get through the many myths, places such as Atlantis.... Maybe..... I think, in order to make it either slightly easier, or slightly more complicated depending on your point of view, that there will be sub-categories: Wells Stone works Ancient Settlement Burial Chamber Battleground Haunted Site Mythological Place Ancient Civilisation There may well be more as we go along! Hello all!! Today's post will finalise the coming few days!! I mentioned a while ago about having to temporarily step back from the blog and I have been dropping hints along the way but, the time is swiftly approaching!! Tomorrow will be my last post and Kerenza will be taking over on Wednesday ! Kerenza may not be able to post daily as she has a full time job, children and cats to look after and posting times may differ. I have given templates for various series but Kerenza is free to deviate!  I do not know when I will be returning to the blog but it will be at least 3 months. I am fully relinquishing control and the only thing I will be doing in the meantime is sharing the posts that Kerenza does. Please be kind to Kerenza as this will be the first time she is fronting a blog and it will take her time to find her stride and style. This post will hopefully set the record straight. The previous posts will still stand to serve as a reminder to always cross-reference and research thoroughly to avoid the mistakes that I made. Correction 1  ROSEMARY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR ANY HERB!  Rosemary can only be substituted for herbs that it shares properties with. And, while we're here: - Rose cannot be substituted for any flower. Only the ones it shares properties with - Frankincense and Copal cannot be substituted for any incense/oil/gum resin. Only the ones that they share properties with - Tobacco cannot be substituted for any poisonous herbs. Hello all!! This is just a little reminder for you guys about next month! A little recap..... So, on the 9th of August I will be stepping down from the blog for an undisclosed amount of time. The reins will be handed over to another member of our team so things may be a bit different for a while but not to worry! The blog will still be posting but be aware that our new poster also has a full time job, 4 cats and kids so posting every day may not be feasible!! I will be sending templates over for Tarot Tuesday , Flora Friday and the finalised (and long awaited) Deity series !! I will also make notes for covering events from other cultures, our mini Altar Items series and possibly our Animal Symbolism series as well!! Helli all!! Some big news here that I thought I'd tell you about in advance! In August I will be taking on a duty of care. Those of you who have cared for someone or work/worked as a caregiver, know that it is a 24 hour job that requires undivided attention. This means that I will be taking a hiatus from the blog for an undisclosed amount of time. I will still be doing the New and Full Moon posts and Star sign Season posts, which I will start preparing in advance. Another author may step in temporarily for a while so formats and writing style may change. It's is also possible that daily posting cannot be continued for a while as I will be busy and our other author works full time. It is also not feasible for me to prepare at least 2 + month's worth of content in advance. I will put out a reminder closer to the time with any updates and plans going forward. Hello all!!  Just a little announcement to say that there won't be a post on Sunday the 8th and Monday the 9th of this month due to personal reasons and prior commitments. As far as I am aware, Kerenza will still be uploading to Tiktok and YouTube (I'll Link everything at the bottom!) so you can still get your daily Truesouls updates. I have also been informed that our resident feline familiars are taking a liking to photobombing or in this case, Videobombing, Kerenza's videos.  Maybe they want to pick the cards? Hello all!! Just a quick post to say that next Saturday ( 26th February ), there will be no post due to a prior commitment.  The rest of the week will be unaffected and posting will remain normal but posting on Saturday just isn't feasible.  I will still be uploading on Tiktok on Saturday as the videos are prerecorded, all I have to do is caption them and post them. For those of you who don't have Tiktok, the videos will also be released on Kerenza's YouTube Channel (I'll put links at the bottom!).  As usual, I have stuff planned for next week but I can guarantee that I've forgotten something and I'll have to redo everything again!!  So, to recap, no post next Saturday, the rest of the week is unaffected! Helli all!! Just a quick update: I have a chest infection and it's taking quite a bit out of me. I will do my best to keep up with the posts but it may take some time get them done!  I wanted to be honest with you guys about the posts. This my reality as a chronically ill person. I will do my best to get through it but I can only do so much! I'm going to rearrange some of the posts to make it more manageable for me but, in the meantime, for those of you versed in the social media world, we now have a  Tiktok ! If you don't have or want a Tiktok, we will be sharing the videos from Tiktok to our other social media platforms! At the moment we are focusing on Crystals , (which technically makes this Crystal Wednesday!) and we will be building our Tiktok from there. Hello all!! After our unexpected, extended hiatus, I am delighted to tell you that normal service has resumed and we will be back to posting regularly, with the exception of New Year's Day!  Our first full post back will be a Tarot Tuesday  which will be a spread, not the one I originally had planned, but I will try to find something that ties in with New Year's.  As for our none fixture posts, I'm debating on whether or not to include the posts that I was going to do or to save them for next year's festive period, I haven't quite made up my mind yet! It may take me a while to get back into the swing of things but I will do my best to ensure that the standards and quality of our posts are as good as, if not better, than before! I will also be going through our previous posts to make sure that I don't forget about any series', to either continue or start them.
