 Hello all!! Just a quick announcement to clarify some things. A bout of influenza and seasonal bugs has struck Kerenza's household and knocked her for six, I also have some stuff going on and the sudden freezing temperatures aren't helping my hands! Posts will be intermittent if at all so please bare with us until normal service can be resumed! Today is also bonfire night so this is a very brief Pet Safety announcement: KEEP YOUR PETS INDOORS TONIGHT!   I know it's raining but that won't stop people letting fireworks off. For those of you with pets who do not cope well with fireworks, there are a few radio and TV stations that provide calming music and there are playlists available on Spotify and YouTube. Hello all! Today's post is kind of a serious one. Looking back through some of our previous posts, I have realised that some of the information that I gave is in fact, incorrect ! This post will hopefully set the record straight. The previous posts will still stand to serve as a reminder to always cross-reference and research thoroughly to avoid the mistakes that I made. Correction 1  ROSEMARY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR ANY HERB!  Rosemary can only be substituted for herbs that it shares properties with. Hello all!!  Just a little announcement to say that there won't be a post on Sunday the 8th and Monday the 9th of this month due to personal reasons and prior commitments. As far as I am aware, Kerenza will still be uploading to Tiktok and YouTube (I'll Link everything at the bottom!) so you can still get your daily Truesouls updates. I have also been informed that our resident feline familiars are taking a liking to photobombing or in this case, Videobombing, Kerenza's videos.  Maybe they want to pick the cards? Hello all!! I'm going to use today's post to talk a bit more about what we're doing with Tiktok and YouTube and what that means for the blog! First and foremost, the blog is staying! It's not going anywhere and I'll do my best to keep posting regularly and fulfil all of the series that have been promised! Secondly , the content posted on Tiktok and YouTube will correspond with True Souls Emporium and what it represents. Hello all!! Many apologies for no Tarot Tuesday yesterday. I had a plan, it was going to be a festive spread and I put a lot of thought into it but, I had my Covid booster  on Monday and it's completely knocked me for six. I had so many plans for this week, I have everything written down and everything allotted to a day but I honestly don't think I'll be able to do it. I'm completely wiped out and having to use my left hand is proving to be a very difficult task as I'm right handed, so my left hand is completely useless.  I originally stated that there will be no posts on the 25th and the 26th  of this month so I should be recovered by the 27th and hopefully, normal service should resume. There may or may not be any posts upcoming until the previously stated time. I want to do them, I have things planned out but I have no energy. Hello all!! I want to get this out of the way while I remember! December has well and truly started. A lot of people have already finished their shopping, started their wrapping, sent all their cards and the tree has been up since the last week of November. I however, have done none of these things, I've made a start but I can't wrap to save my life!  Some places have already seen snow, even parts of Cornwall have had snow and that is a rarity! Hello all!! Today's post is a little ramble about something that I feel is important and that is about including posts about other cultures! So far, I've only been posting about Sabbats and have covered very little about what goes on in the rest of the world throughout the year. Believe me, I do feel guilty about this as Witchcraft  merges with other cultures, I feel that we should know about the practices , folklore and celebrations of others!  The closest I've come to this is a few of our newer Animal Symbolism posts, however, this isn't in-depth coverage and barely scratches the surface! I plan to start this inclusion at the start of next year and will do my best to make sure that the terminology and language that I use is correct as I'm sadly not as familiar with other cultures as I should be, which is my own fault entirely. Hello all!! In this post I would like to put forth potential content ideas and see what you think! Firstly, I would like to do something called Flora Friday  . This would be a weekly segment focusing on individual plants and delving into their history, magical/medicinal properties or if said plant is unique/interesting in any way. This will include flowers, trees/leaves, herbs, berries and possibly fruit since seeds can be used in rituals/spells.  Secondly, something to do with crystals. Maybe another weekly thing since there are so many of them, I doubt I could get through them all in a year! It'll be interesting researching all the properties these interesting stones possess!!  Thirdly, there will obviously be posts for special events, Samhain, Yule, full moon, eclipses and others that hold significance.
