Celestial Happenings

Hello all! We have quite a few things happening over the next few days so Cosmic and Astrology witches, hang onto your hats!

According to AyE uniVERSE over a 24 hour period spanning from the 12th - 13th of August, we will have the following:

- A solar eclipse 

- A planetary alignment 

- A meteor shower 

Let's break it down and have a look..

SOLAR ECLIPSE 

The solar eclipse will take place om the 12th and will be mostly visible in most parts of the Northern hemisphere...however...in some places, it'll be a total eclipse and others, it'll be a partial eclipse.

Total:

- Greenland 

- Iceland 

- Northern Spain 

- Portugal 

- Russia in places 

Partial:

- Most of Europe 

- North Atlantic 

For more information, check local website a news as obviously, a meteorologist will be able to tell you more than I can. 

PLANETARY ALIGNMENT 

Occasionally, one or two planets may align, rarer still, 6 planets align. Luckily for us, 6 planets will in fact align but, you're going to have to get up a wee bit early to see it as the recommended time is just before local sunrise on the 12th. Planets in the alignment are:

- Mercury 

- Jupiter 

- Mars

- Saturn 

- Uranus 

- Neptune 

METEOR SHOWER 

Last but not least, the grand finale to round us off on the 13th, the Perseid meteor shower! Said to be one of the brightest meteor showers we'll have this year, you can expect multiple meteors to fall per hour for the duration. Obviously, some places will be able to see this better than others so check online for the best time and place for you to watch, depending on your location!
